Here's my first attempt at putting together a tutorial. I hope this is helpful to all the colorists out there.

The sketch was done by :iconzurdom: and the inks by :iconbillmeiggs:.

Let me know if you have any questions. If anyone decides to use this tutorial I would dig it if you showed me the results.

And remember that if you're going to use anyones inks or sketch to color, ask for permission first and always credit the artists.

Honest Crit? I don't think this coloring style suites the linework much, it almost asks for a more painted style, so it's hard for me to crit it properly. Although from what I can see your cuts are following the lineart nicely, just be careful about your light source, on his body it seems to be coming from the left, on his leg and helmet from the right and on his left arm from straight ahead. Just be careful with that. I think you understood the coloring technique well enough, I just think you now need to work a little on your color theory. I'm sorry if that was harsh, I really think you're capable of more in the future and I hope you will keep me posted to your evolution...

Really good for your first try, I'm sure you'll get there quickly. As for lineart and poses, I don't have anything, but check out :iconstevensanchez: he has some great video tutorials up :)
