Ngboy's Nightcrawler Colored by ginmau Ngboy's Nightcrawler Colored by ginmau
I saw this great sketch on :iconngboy:'s gallery and I really wanted to color it. Don't have much free time to color for myself due to the project I'm working on, but managed to squeeze this in to unwind a little. Done in roughly 2-3 hours using Photoshop CS2 and an optical mouse

Pencils and inks: :iconngboy:
Colors: Me

Awesome. I coloured this too as one of my first colourings (I'm still totally new to this) [link] It's not even close to yours though. I love how you lit from below. Back when I done mine I wasn't even thinking about light sources.

Thanx a lot :)

I know what you mean about "back then", I've got some pics in my gallery that I look and say, "what was I thinking?". I still like what you did with the colors though, simple, but the piece looks strong.

Good luck and thanx for the fav :)

Thanks for the compliment on an admittedly ancient colouring. Coming from you it's high praise.

Yeah, I don't have a tablet at work so I color some thing with a mouse, it's good for a guy to not get too attached to one way to color. Imagine your tablet breaks down or somthing on a weekend and you have a deadline... what you gonna do? ;) Thanx

Thanx, I don't have much time for collabs at the moment, just finishing up a job :) (Finally) But it's always great to see what you com up with. Just a suggestion, try taking on some sequential pages. It's a good way to evolve to the next level, or try adding in a background. Challenge yourself :)

Pity, because that would make your sketches POP out! Try maybe putting together a background and laying over one of your finished skeches, that might be easier. If you need help, let me know :)

hm... ok: HELP!!! XD XD... I don´t know what you mean!? should I draw backgrounds and then put it together with some of my finished arts or should i colour the finished arts in real... like taking one of my pics and draw the background on the original...?!

No :) I mean, try putting together a background on it's own page using one of your pics for referance and then when you're finished, scan it in add it to the original in photoshop. If you don't know how, you can send me the two pics and I'll put together a photshop file with layers and instructions on how I got there :)
